Who should submit their publications?

Professors, lecturers, research associates, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers who are members of Heidelberg University are invited to submit their publications to the Heidelberg University Bibliography.

Which publications can be submitted?

Only publications that have already been released should be submitted to the Heidelberg University Bibliography. For electronic publications, it is important that they remain permanently accessible online.

How can publications be submitted?

Publications can be submitted informally by email to the University Bibliography editorial team (biblio@ub.uni-heidelberg.de). If available, you can simply provide a link to the publication or its DOI. Complete lists of publications are also welcome.

How are publications documented?

The Heidelberg University Bibliography strives to provide a comprehensive record of Heidelberg publications with high-quality bibliographic data. After submission, librarians from the Heidelberg libraries enter the data into the K10plus union catalog, and the publications are then documented in the Library Catalogue of the University Heidelberg.

How can browsing lists be integrated into a homepage?

heiBIB lets you embed dynamic literature lists directly into institute websites. You can create lists for individual researchers or for entire institutes.

The lists are fully customizable and update automatically whenever new publications are added to heiBIB.

Please note: these lists are not intended for citation management (e.g., in reference software). For exporting or processing citations, use the search and export features in the Library Catalogue of Heidelberg University.
