Digital Editions Dictionaries

Dictionaries are complex records of linguistic organization that reflect vocabulary, semantic change, and the bodies of knowledge of different historical periods. Their scholarly edition poses particular challenges in terms of structuring, interlinking, and ensuring long-term accessibility. Heidelberg University Library develops and supports such projects in close collaboration with the research community and makes them openly available through Open Access.
