12.5.2025 Required password change for HEIDI identifiers

As part of the preparations for the introduction of a new library system, older HEIDI identifiers (eight-digit numeric identifiers) must also meet the requirements of the University Computer Centre (URZ) password policy. An automatic redirection will soon be introduced in the login for the corresponding accounts: If the password used when logging in does not meet the URZ requirements, you will be redirected to the password change page after logging in. We then ask you to make this change.

All users with a Uni-ID, including all students, are not affected by this password change.
