19.12.2023Long night: 25.1.2024 from 16:00

On Thursday, 25 January 2024, the “Lange Nacht der Hausarbeiten” will take place in the University Library for the 11th time. Participation is free of charge. Registration is not required. But: Most presentations will be in German.

The Long Night will focus on the topic of academic writing. From 4 to 10 p.m., there will be lectures and workshops on self-organisation, developing a writing routine, writing in English, researching and citing, using EndNote and IT tips from employees of the Computer Centre. In the relaxation exercises, you will learn about progressive muscle relaxation and breathing and concentration exercises. The Studierendenwerk offers a free coffee bar in the basement.

The lectures and some of the workshops will be streamed via YouTube and heiCONF. The links to the courses and the detailed programme can be found on the Long Night website (link attached). All interested parties are cordially invited.
