Digital Editions Ancient Texts / Inscriptions

Ancient texts and inscriptions are often preserved only in fragments and on a wide variety of materials such as stone, papyrus or ostraca. Digital editions make it possible to catalogue, interlink and provide long-term access to these diverse sources. Heidelberg University Library develops and manages such projects in close collaboration with researchers, thereby making key sources from the ancient world available via Open Access.
