The Public Relations and Communications Department is the first address for press contacts. It is responsible for the current information in the news section of the homepage and for the University Library's social media presence.
Filming or photography on the premises of the University Library is subject to authorisation. Please contact the Public Relations and Communications Department if you require a filming permit. We will also be happy to help you clarify image rights.

In addition to the news on the homepage, the University Library communicates on several social media channels. The Facebook page has existed since 2011 and the UB has operated a YouTube channel since 2018. We have also been represented on Instagram since 2021.
Exhibitions
The University Library organises its own exhibitions as well as exhibitions in collaboration with partners. The exhibition rooms are located on the upper floor of the historic old building of the main library. In addition to the exhibitions, showcases on the ground floor offer an insight into the University Library's collections. Showcases from co-operation partners are presented on the upper floor.
Please note: The exhibition rooms are currently closed due to renovation work. The showcase exhibitions in the main staircase of the historic old building are accessible during regular opening hours.
