Data Hour: eLabFTW - A free and flexible open source electronic lab notebook (ELN) [English]

Next Thursday, March 23th, 14:00h - 14:45h the Competence Center for Research Data (KFD) cordially invites you to the seminar of Alexander Haller (Computing Center, Heidelberg University) on the topic: “eLabFTW - A free and flexible open source electronic lab notebook (ELN) [English]“.

eLabFTW is an open source ELN that will be released as a campus wide service by the KFD later this year; the talk wil cover the follwing issues:  A short overview of eLabFTW - a general purpose ELN with a strong feature set; Templates, Timestamps, Inventory Management, Responsive webclient, i18n, Scheduler, API, Granular user/group permissions. In this talk we will go over the commonly used features, give insight into data security issues and discuss further the pros and cons and try to help you decide if eLabFTW is the right tool for you.
