Abstract

Translation of abstract (English)

At present the research on child soldiers only describes the main points of the phenomenon. It is a global duty for comparative education research to investigate the subject. In order to give an idea of the discourse, the article starts with a survey of the common use of the word 'child soldier'. Then the author describes the socialisation of child soldiers, develops a programme in relation to therapy, reintegration, reconciliation, education and preventive measures. Pedagogical interventions to reduce child soldiering are mainly concerned with primary education, vocational training, social services and the new concepts of education for reconciliation and education for reconstruction. The article concludes by exposing the thesis on the discourse's progression, prognoses for its future and recommendations for further research.
