Abstract

Mit den genuin philosophischen Begriffen von (negativ-disjunktiver) Individuation einerseits und Intentionalität andererseits lässt sich in Wagners Anthropologie eine Doppelstruktur ausmachen, die ein durchgehendes Motiv dieses Werkes bildet und erst im Parsifal so etwas wie einer Lösung zugeführt wird. Damit ergibt sich eine unifizierende, spezifische Gesamtthematik von Wagners Schaffen, vor deren Hintergrund sich seine Werke als Fallbeispiele des je selben existentiellen Grundkonflikts lesen lassen, der sich andere Thematiken unterordnen. Die „Erlösung“ im Parsifal geschieht so durch die Aufhebung einer anthropologischen Konstante, nämlich der „Relationalität“ einer im Kern relational angelegten Anthropologie.

Translation of abstract (English)

With the genuinely philosophical concepts of (negative-disjunctive) individuation on the one hand and intentionality on the other, a double structure can be identified in Wagner's anthropology, which forms a continuous motif of this work and is only brought to something like a solution in Parsifal. This results in a unifying, specific overall theme of Wagner's work, against the background of which his works can be read as case studies of the same basic existential conflict, to which other themes are subordinated. The "redemption" in Parsifal thus occurs through the suspension of an anthropological constant, namely the "relationality" of an anthropology that is relational at its core.
