Abstract

Translation of abstract (English)

In the first part of this thesis two quantum-mechanical experiments of ultracold neutrons are described. The anomalous Larmor phase is an additional term to the normal Larmor phase of a spin in a magnetic field. This effect takes place if a particle with spin and mass passes through a magnetic field gradient. If the energy of the Zeeman-splitting in strong magnetic fields for ultracold neutrons is of the same order as their kinetic energy, the anomalous contribution to the Larmor phase could not be neglected. Thus the Larmor phase is neither proportional to the magnetic field strength B nor to the time it spends in the field. In order to measure this effect, we have employed the separated oscillatory field magnetic resonance technique with ultracold neutrons at the Institute Laue-Langevin (ILL) in Grenoble. In the second experiment we tested an alternative method of producing ultracold neutrons by magnetic decelaration. In the second part of this work a new concept for position sensitive neutron detection on large areas is presented. A solid neutron-converter is placed on both sides of a GEM-foil. The GEM-foil could be operated in a mode where it is transparent for charges. Thus it is possible to put a couple of GEM-foils in series. The accumulated charge by all foils can be collected. As a consequence the detection efficiency is increased without a loss of spatial information. This detector runs at normal pressure, has a high count rate capability and is not sensitive for gamma-rays.
