Extension of services offered due to the complete closure of the University Library

For the emergency supply of university members with scientific sources during the complete closure required by the Corona action program, Heidelberg University Library now offers the following additional services:

Delivery from the UB collections

For all members of the university the possibility to order from the UB collections for delivery by mail. This offer is valid if the person ordering agrees to pay the postage charges.

Extension of Electronic Document Delivery Service

Extension of the document delivery service HEDD (Heidelberger Electronic Document Delivery) to students of the University of Heidelberg.

Extended access to electronic resources

Extended research services

  1. Checking of references in printed UB holdings:
    Do you need to check a citation, a page number or a bibliographical reference? Before you submit your work you need to verify a reference? Subject to the extent of research needed, and limited to the period of complete closure, we offer to do the checking for you and send you the result in a suitable form by e-mail.
  2. Literature lists and research requests:
    For your scientific work, we also offer you the possibility of conducting thematic research and compiling literature lists on your behalf. The scope of the request and the procedure we follow will be decided individually with you.

Please send your enquiries by e-mail to the Brief library information desk , quoting your Uni-ID. Both services are free of charge and limited to the period of complete closure.
