- Vending machines for hot and cold beverages as well as small snacks can be found in the basement in the hall . The machines are only operable with the CampusCard.
- Ventilation system reading room Main Library (Triplex)
- A ventilation system (managing 57,000 cubic meters of air per hour) provides fresh air to the main area of the library's Triplex reading room. This ventilation system is not an air-conditioning unit, but only a change of air ventilation system with peak cooling. The cooling is handled automatically in relation to the outside temperature. In case of strong variations of the outside temperature the cooling system operates with a delay. The calibration is done by an external contractor; library personnel cannot change any settings and cannot open windows, which have to be closed because of the ventilation system.
