Abstract

Translation of abstract (English)

During the period of 1995 till 1999 extensive spectroscopic time series of three Wolf-Rayet binaries (WR 22, gamma2 Vel and HD 5980) have been collected. Even for the long period systems gamma2 Vel and WR 22 (Psim 80 days) it was possible to obtain unique series over one complete cycle with a time resolution of one day. With the help of these spectra, covering the complete optical wavelength region with high resolution, fundamental stellar parameter of the systems can be derived. Now, complete sets of spectroscopic orbital elements for both components with high precision are available for gamma2 Vel and WR 22. A remarkable high mass of 55:{m M}_odot was determined for WR 22. This has far-reaching impact on theoretical calculations concerning the evolution of massive stars. The discrepancy of former mass determinations for the WR component in gamma2 Vel has been resolved. Furthermore, with the help of IUE data, wind eclipse effects were detected in the spectra of gamma2 Vel. This enables a qualitative estimation of the WR wind structure and establishes the basis for the isolation of wind-wind interaction effects. A complete set of spectroscopic orbital elements has been determined for the WR star in the extragalactic system HD 5980. Existing absorption features in the spectra could not be identified as belonging to the companion, but suggest the conclusion that HD 5980 is a quadruple system.
