Subito for Special Subject Collections and the Specialised Information Service
Heidelberg University Library holds Special Subject Collections in the fields of: “Egyptology”, “Classical Archeology” and “South-Asia” as well as the Specialised Information Service for Art. Subito provides users residing in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein or Switzerland with books and articles in these fields. To use subito you have to register.
User groups at subito
Customers from all other countries can turn to their home libraries which can register to “subito Library Service”. Registration enables libraries to order documents on behalf of their users. For details please refer to subito's information on user groups.
SSG-S the document delivery service for the library's special subject collection has discontinued its activities.
What kind of material can be ordered?
You can order articles from books and journals held by Heidelberg University Library or by the library of the South Asia Institute and books from the holdings of Heidelberg University Library or of the library of the South Asia Institute, which are published after 1900. Oversize, rare, valuable or special library material restricted to use within the library must be ordered through conventional (international) interlibrary loan and must be used within the reading room of your home library.
Subito is document delivery service which is liable to fees. The customer agrees to settle the fees according to the current price list and to observe the applicable copyright.
